Valerie Hernandez

I was born in Laredo,TX and moved to Lubbock at the age of 5. I then lived and Austin,TX for 6 years and then moved back to Lubbock in 2013.

 I’ve always loved drawing and painting since I was a little girl and one of my dreams was to be an Artist when I grew up. My Mom would give me coloring books and crayons when I was little and I fell in love with color.  I’ve always been inspired by the beauty in the world, colors and shapes. I love being able to visualize things in my head and draw and paint them on paper or canvas to share with everyone. It gives people a different perspective on things. Art is a way to bring your own touch of beauty and uniqueness into the world that no one has ever seen or imagined before.
